Voice typing uses your browser’s built-in speech recognition. In Chrome, the audio goes to Google’s servers to be turned into text; it never comes to us and we store nothing. Works best in Chrome or Edge. Speak at a normal pace in a quiet place for the best results.
Common questions
Which browsers work?
Google Chrome on a computer or Android works best, and Microsoft Edge works too. Firefox does not support it.
Is my voice stored?
Nothing comes to us and we store nothing. Chrome sends the audio to Google to turn it into text, so avoid saying anything very private.
